Terms of service

Who we are
CrAza operates the CrAza application. These terms govern your use of it. Private pilot, invite only.
What the service does
CrAza lets you hold a balance denominated in a US-dollar stablecoin and spend it in naira at participating Nigerian shops. The asset backing your balance is custodied by Quidax, an exchange registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria.
CrAza is not an exchange, a bank, a bureau de change or a money transfer operator. You cannot buy or sell digital assets through CrAza, and you cannot withdraw naira to your own bank account. A balance may be spent at a shop, or withdrawn as the asset itself to an address you control.
Prices and charges
Before you confirm any payment we show you the naira amount and the rate it is based on. That is the price; confirming is your agreement to it. Our charge is contained within that rate. A shop receives the full naira amount of the sale and is charged nothing.
Payments are final
A confirmed payment cannot be reversed by us. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, that is a matter between you and the shop. Contact us and we will help where we can, but we are not a party to what you bought.
Your account
Keep your PIN and your phone secure. Tell us immediately at hello@craza.app if you believe someone else has access. We may suspend an account where we suspect fraud, where we are required to, or where these terms are broken.
Shops
A shop must register a Nigerian bank account in its own or its owner’s name, which we verify before approving it. Shops are responsible for the goods and services they sell and for their own tax and regulatory obligations.
Risk
The value of a stablecoin balance is not guaranteed by us. Networks, custodians and payment providers we depend on can be delayed or unavailable, and a payment or payout may take longer than usual as a result.
Changes and law
We may change these terms and will say so in the app when we do. They are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
