For investors

Turning digital dollars into everyday spending.

Millions of Nigerians hold savings in digital dollars and cannot spend them at a shop. CrAza lets them pay by scanning a code. The shop gets naira, in full, and our margin sits inside the rate.

This page is about equity in CrAza, the company. We do not sell an investment product and pay no return on any balance.

Why now

The dollars are already here. The rules have arrived.

People in Nigeria already hold and move digital dollars at scale, and the rules for the businesses that hold them are now written down.

3rd

Nigeria’s place out of 117 countries in the 2026 Global Crypto Adoption Index, which covers July 2025 to June 2026. Only Brazil and the United States rank higher.

The product

Scan. Confirm. The shop is paid.

One app for the person paying and the shop being paid. The sale is final at the counter; converting and paying out happen afterwards, and never hold it up.

The full payment flow

1The customer sees the price

2Confirms with a PIN

3The shop is told at once

Business model

One margin, on the customer’s side.

Agreed before they pay, inside the rate. Pricing and unit economics are in the deck, and we are glad to walk through them.

The margin is in the rate

The customer sees the naira price and the rate before confirming. We keep the difference between that rate and the rate we convert at. No fee on top.

The shop pays nothing

Full naira amount on every sale, no terminal, no monthly fee: the usual reasons a shop says no to a new way to pay, removed.

Naira to the shop’s own bank

Takings reach the account the shop already uses, through a licensed Nigerian payment provider, on their own or when the shop chooses.

How it is built

Licensed partners hold the money.

We are a technology company. Holding the asset, converting it and moving naira are done by licensed partners. CrAza is deliberately not an exchange, a bank or a bureau de change.

Read the terms

No keys held by us

A licensed custodian holds the digital assets. We build the app, the shop tools and the ledger in between.

Identity first

NIN and BVN checks in front of every first payment, as Nigerian rules require.

Atomic payments

A payment completes entirely or not at all, in a single database transaction.

A real ledger

Double-entry, reconciled against itself on a schedule. Every kobo has a source and a destination.

Status

What exists, and what is still being arranged.

In development. Mobile app launching soon. Nobody is transacting yet.

Built

  • The customer app: top up, scan a shop’s code, see the price and the rate, pay with a PIN, keep the receipt.
  • The shop side of the same app: charge by code, see takings in naira, send them to the bank.
  • A double-entry ledger and the payment engine, with identity checks in front of every payment.
  • An operations console for treasury, payouts and the waitlist.
  • This site, and a waitlist that is open now.

In progress

  • Company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • An agreement with a licensed custodian to hold the digital assets. It is not signed yet, which is why no partner is named on this site.
  • An agreement with a licensed Nigerian payment provider to pay shops in naira. Not signed yet.
  • Opening to customers and shops, once those agreements are in place. The waitlist hears first.

Talk to us about backing CrAza.

We will send the deck and find a time to walk through the product, the unit economics and where the regulatory work stands. This is about equity in the company, never a return on a balance.
